Our SZUKU DEET-FREE® Mosquito and Tick Repellent Lotion is a 100% natural product made from ethically produced, sustainable, plant-based ingredients and contains the active ingredient Citriodiol®.
The SZUKU DEET-FREE® product range is a perfect, if not superior, alternative to synthetic insect repellents.
The SZUKU DEET-FREE® lotion, which is applied directly to the skin, provides long-lasting protection against blood-feeding mosquitoes, ticks, and other flying and biting insects (e.g., sandflies, black flies, stable flies, terrestrial leeches, etc.), even in high-risk areas.
During efficacy testing of SZUKU DEET-FREE® mosquito and tick repellent lotion on mosquitoes and ticks, special attention was paid not only to native mosquito species (Aedes and Culex) and tick species (Ixodes ricinus) in Hungary but also to invasive species such as Aedes albopictus (Asian tiger mosquito), Anopheles aquasalis (malaria mosquito), Culex quinquefasciatus, and Culicoides species.
Thanks to its 100% natural ingredients, both members of the SZUKU DEET-FREE ® (spray and lotion) are family-friendlyproducts. When used as directed in the user manual, they can be safely applied by pregnant women and young children.
When combating mosquitoes and ticks, we cannot stress enough the importance of individual protection! The best individual defense is to prevent blood-feeding arthropods from finding suitable habitats and breeding grounds, as well as to use effective mosquito and tick repellent products while spending time outdoors.
The product is available in 40-gram packaging with a closing lid and screw-on cap, housed in a plastic bottle with a mechanical dispenser.
Each carton contains 12 products.

Type of Product Formulation: Ready-to-use insect repellent cream
Product Type and Classification: Biocidal product, Type 19, Category III, over-the-counter repellent.
Instructions for Use: Apply the cream in a thin, even layer to exposed areas of skin that need protection from blood-feeding arthropods, then rub it in evenly. For the face – avoiding the areas around the eyes and mouth – use the cream applied to the hands to spread it. A responsible adult should apply the repellent to children. The product can be used no more than once a day for both children and adults. Do not treat children’s palms! Use the product no more than once per day. Do not apply to damaged or sunburned skin. Avoid contact with open wounds. Individuals with sensitive skin or those prone to allergies should use the product cautiously for the first time and only on a small patch of skin. If an allergic reaction occurs (e.g., redness or rash), immediately wash the product off with plenty of soap and water. If protection from blood-feeding insects is no longer required, wash the repellent off with soap and water after returning indoors.
Application Dosage:
1 gram of product per 600 cm²
(600 cm² corresponds approximately to the surface area of an average adult's forearm).

For external use only!
Ensure that the cream does not come into contact with mucous membranes (eyes, mouth, nose) or open wounds.
Do not apply to sunburned or damaged skin. Avoid inhaling the spray.
Use the product no more than once per day.
Individuals prone to allergies should test the product on a small area of skin to ensure compatibility before full use.
Do not use in enclosed spaces. If entering indoors after outdoor use, wash the treated skin thoroughly with soap and water.
Refilling or reusing the bottle for other purposes is prohibited!

30% CITRIODIOL® (CAS Number: 1245629-80-4)
First Aid Measures:
In case of skin irritation or rash: Immediately wash the affected area with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing as soon as possible. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
After eye contact: Rinse eyes cautiously with plenty of water for several minutes. If wearing contact lenses, remove them and continue rinsing. If irritation or vision impairment persists, seek specialist medical attention.
After ingestion: Rinse the mouth with water. Immediately consult a doctor and provide the packaging, label, or product safety data sheet. Do NOT induce vomiting!
If poisoning or suspected poisoning occurs, consult a doctor immediately!
When seeking medical advice, keep the product packaging or label available.
Under no circumstances should a poisoned person be left unattended!

Shelf Life: Store in its original, sealed packaging, away from light, hot surfaces, and ignition sources. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and separate from food and animal feed. Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area at a maximum temperature of 35°C.
The product can be used for up to 2 years from the date of manufacture. The manufacturing and expiration dates are indicated on the product packaging.
Environmental Precautions:
Do not release the product into open water, drainage systems, or soil. Spilled product must be absorbed with inert, non-flammable materials (e.g., dry sand, diatomaceous earth).
Unused or expired repellent should be stored in its original packaging until disposal. Product remnants and packaging can be disposed of with municipal waste.
