Description

METATOX Paraffin Rodenticide Block -to combat rodent infestations under extreme conditions rágcsálófertőzöttségét
The METATOX paraffin block is most suitable for use in cases where bait needs to be applied in wet and humid environments.
METATOX paraffin blocks are made with high-quality chopped wheat, other cereals, and proteins embedded in a wax block. These components provide an excellent culinary appeal and an essential chewing surface for rodents. Additionally, the inclusion of other premium food-grade materials ensures superior bait acceptance.
Thanks to our manufacturing technology, compared to other pressed paraffin block baits, our product remains intact even under the most challenging conditions, including after the wax block has been partially chewed by rodents. This guarantees durability, improved effectiveness, and cost-efficient usage.
Due to the delayed action mechanism of the active ingredient, the anticoagulant-based bait causes rodents to die within 4–10 days after a single consumption.
The product is available in 300-gram cardboard boxes, suitable for retail placement, with graphics, labels, and detailed usage instructions, designed for high retail standards.

A single carton contains 20 units.

Additional information

Application of the product: For indoor use and in the immediate vicinity of buildings, for controlling Norway rats (Rattus norvegicus) and house mice (Mus musculus), intended for residential use.

Pre-Application Measures:
Use the product only in areas where the presence of rats and/or house mice has been observed.
Rodent presence can be identified by their typical signs (nests, burrows, runways, droppings, etc.) or the damage caused by their gnawing. Based on these signs, estimate the severity of the infestation and plan the treatment accordingly.

Before placing the product, consider whether the rodent problem can be resolved without using rodenticides.
Use rodenticides only when absolutely necessary!
Do not use the product to prevent rodent infestations or to detect rodent activity.

Before starting the treatment, inspect the area to improve effectiveness and prevent reinfestation:
Seal holes and burrows and eliminate all accessible food sources, such as food waste or spilled grain. Do not clean the infested area during bait placement, as this may disturb rodents and reduce bait consumption.

Placement of the Product:
Place the product in lockable, tamper-resistant bait stations available commercially and reusable.
The bait station is not included in the packaging. If needed, we recommend using bait stations supplied by our company.

The following information must be clearly and indelibly marked on the bait station:

“Warning! Contains rodenticide!

Do not move, relocate, or open! In case of an accident, contact the toxicology center.
METATOX rodenticide baits, active ingredient: 0.0025% brodifacoum."

Place the bait station in areas frequented by rodents, along their runways, or near their suspected hiding places.
Ensure the bait station is in a location inaccessible to children, pets, livestock, and other wildlife. Secure the bait station if possible, and protect it from direct water, rain, and adverse weather.
Rodenticide must only be placed in closed bait stations!

Application Dosage:
Application dose of Metatox rodenticidal baits to kill mice:
For high infestations: 5-20 grams per feeding station every 2 metres.
Low infestation: 5-20 grams per feeding station every 5 metres.

Application dose of Metatox rodenticidal baits for the control of rats:
For high infestations: 10-60 grams per feeding station every 5 metres.
Low infestation: 10-60 grams per feeding station every 10 metres.

During the first two weeks, inspect bait stations every 2-3 days for mice and every 5-7 days for rats, replenishing consumed bait. Replace spoiled, wet, or moldy bait. Subsequently, conduct weekly inspections.
Due to the delayed effect of the anticoagulant, rodent death is expected 4-10 days after consumption.
Depending on infestation severity, treatment may take 2-6 weeks.
If the bait is continuously consumed, establish additional baiting points rather than increasing the quantity at existing ones.
Remove any dead rodents during treatment.
If rodent activity does not decrease noticeably within 35 days, consult a pest control professional.

Precautionary Measures:
Use exclusively for rodent control and only as instructed. Do not use the product to harm non-target animals. The product is toxic to mammals and birds. Predators or scavengers (e.g., dogs, cats, pigs) may be poisoned if they consume rodents killed or weakened by the product.
Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking while handling the product. Wash hands thoroughly with warm, soapy water after placement and monitoring.
Do not use contaminated or spoiled rodenticide.
Store and apply the product separately from food, drink, feed, and any surfaces or tools that come into contact with them. Ensure it is inaccessible to children and non-target animals.
Do not release the product into water bodies.
The product is dangerous to wildlife.

Always read the product label and follow the instructions carefully before use!
